Injury boost for Asante Kotoko as Richmond Lamptey resumes full training

Asante Kotoko have been handed an injury boost with midfielder Richmond Lamptey returning to full training ahead of their match week 28 clash against Aduana Stars.

The 25-year-old trained with his teammates for the first time on Tuesday, having being out of action since March 31, when he played for Kotoko against Karela United at the Baba Yara Sports stadium.

The game ended 1-1 with captain Abdul Ganiyu shown a red card.

Lamptey has since missed five Premier League games for Asante Kotoko this season due to the injury he sustained

He sat out of the games against King Faisal, Accra Hearts of Oak, RTU, Legon Cities and WAFA.

Asante Kotoko will host Aduana Stars on match week 28 of the Ghana Premier League at the Baba Yara stadium and Lamptey is expected to be available for selection.

With seven matches left to play, coach Prosper Narteh's side must win at least four to seal the league title.
