Inter and Roma target staying at Porto

Despite rumours linking him with Inter and Roma, it appears Hector Herrara won’t be leaving Porto during the season.

The 28-year-old’s contract with the Portuguese giants expires at the end of the campaign, and recent reports suggested the Dragoes would try to cash in on him before then.

Those suggestions have been turned down by Herrera’s agent, Gabriel Moraes, who has made it clear he will remain with Porto for the foreseeable future.

“He won’t be leaving Porto during the season,” he told O Jogo. “I can exclude that.”

Inter and Roma have been linked with a move for the Mexican, and it appears they will now look to land him on a free transfer next summer.

That won’t be as big of an issue for the Nerazzurri, as they won’t be able to sign Herrara in January after using their two non-EU slots on Keita Balde and Lautaro Martinez.
