Inter duo expected to stay past January transfer window

Miranda and Ivan Perisic are both expected to remain at Inter despite reports linking them with January exits.

The Nerazzurri have begun 2019 by going winless in two Serie A matches, and things are just as turbulent off the field with the future of several players up in the air.

Perisic has reportedly asked to join Arsenal, while Miranda wants more playing time after being relegated to the bench more often than not. However, Sky Sport Italia reports neither player is expected to depart during the current window.

The Gunners have so far only offered a loan deal with an option to sign the Croatian this summer, while the Nerazzurri have demanded €40 million for the winger.

As a result Arsenal are expected to pursue a move for Yannick Carrasco, who has made it clear he wants to leave Chinese side Dalian Yifang.

Monaco have also made an offer to sign Miranda on loan with an option to make it permanent, but Inter have told the Ligue 1 side they aren’t interested in that kind of deal for the Brazilian.
