Inter Milan coach Luciano Spalletti satisfied with victory over Lyon

Inter Milan coach Luciano Spalletti is pleased with their preseason form.

Inter defeated Lyon 1-0, thanks to Stevan Jovetic's winner, in the International Champions Cup yesterday.

“We won 1-0 and we could have scored more goals," Spalletti said in this post-match Press conference.

“The most important thing is balance on the pitch though, as well as the ability to keep the right distance between the positions and individual players.

“It's also important to defend by attacking, and when you have the ball you have to be sharp to move it better.

“Today - especially in the second half - I saw all of those things, and from my point of view that's the best result.

“In modern football you go to training and you work with the ball, then the next day you play.

“If there's a way to recover in this sport then it's to keep hold of the ball during the match."
