After having been linked to several A-listers (from Bayern Munich to Juventus, from Real Madrid to Manchester United), Argentinian international striker and Inter Milan captain Mauro Icardi (25) seems to have made up his mind and be determined to stay put, for his sixth San Siro season in a row. To this end, Maurito has been in talks with Neroazzurri on a new deal for a long time: while an agreement on an extension from June 2021 to 2023, and an annual salary raise from about 5 to nearly 7 million euros, has already been achieved, the player is still asking for the 110 million euros exit clause currently set on him to be erased, in case things go south for the club.
