Italian Serie A giants Inter Milan is planning a summer swoop for Thomas Partey as they continue to monitor the contract extension talks between the player and Atletico Madrid.

The Ghanaian international remains one of the most sought after midfielders in Europe following his impressive display for the Rojiblancos in the last couple of seasons.

With several clubs looking to secure his services, Atletico Madrid last month handed the player a contract extension that will not only double his release clause from 50 million Euros to 100 million Euros but will also see him earning more.

Talks have been smooth so far but Thomas Partey is yet to commit to the new contract.

In line with that, Inter Milan who is also in the market looking for a midfielder of Partey’s quality has decided to monitor the situation.

The Nerazzurri according to reports are ready to trigger the 50 million release clause of the Black Stars asset but want to wait to see how the current contract extension talks will pan out.

Inter joins the likes of Arsenal, Manchester United, PSG as clubs interested in signing Thomas Partey.
