Inter to make a final decision on the future of Kwadwo Asamoah at the end of the season

According to a story in today's print edition of Italian daily newspaper Tuttosport, Inter will take a decision on what the future holds for defender Kwadwo Asamoah with the club at the end of the season.

The experienced Ghanian defender, who is one of few players in the Inter squad who know what it takes to win, especially in Serie A, has not featured for the club since December and with little under a year left on his €3.5 million a year contract, it makes him pretty much unsellable.

Inter chief executive Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Marotta is a big fan of Asamoah’s and the report states that if Inter manager Antonio Conte decides he is not part of his plans, club management will need to make a decision.

Asamoah 31, joined Inter on a free transfer in the Summer of 2018 and although he featured a lot in his first two seasons, his playing time has been significantly limited due to injury this season, with him having made just 11 appearances, in which he has provided one assist.

His contract with Inter expires on 30th June 2021.
