After the match with Club Brugge, coach Simone Inzaghi spoke at a press conference:
"Only tomorrow I will fully understand the importance of this night. On the day of the draw I had this hope, after 20 years Lazio is back among the best sixteen in Europe. There is great satisfaction for having achieved this goal, now let's enjoy it for a day and a half. The match was a good one because of our merits, we played 70 important minutes, the only problem was that we didn't score the third goal."
