Real Madrid midfielder Isco denies their title defence is over after defeat to Girona.
The loss leaves Real eight points behind LaLiga leaders Barcelona.
"Nobody should say Real Madrid are dead, because we have shown that we always come back," said Isco.
"When things are going well it is very easy to say we are a great team, now we have to really prove it.
"It is clear that we cannot continue like this."
Goalscorer Isco feels as though the team lacked something in the second half.
"Maybe we lacked a bit of personality at the beginning of the second half," he confirmed.
"We have dropped three important points, I don't think it's a case of needing to run more.
"When you are playing, you always want the best for your team, we must eliminate the mistakes because any team can hurt you."
