It is fake news: I haven't said anywhere that Hearts has disrespected me - Bernard Arthur

Accra Hearts of Oak attacker Bernard Arthur has denied stating in an interview that the club has disrespected him.

The former Liberty Professions talisman is said to be close to securing a transfer to Great Olympics due to his lack of playing time with the Phobians.

According to a report earlier today, Bernard Arthur in an interview with Kumasi-based Oyerepa FM had said that he handed in a transfer request to Hearts of Oak because he was being disrespected by constantly being left on the bench.

In a video this evening, the attacker has stressed that he has never uttered such words in an interview with any media house.

“I woke up this morning and I read some fake news saying the club disrespected me and all that. No. I never said something like that and it is a fake news. I hope and I plead that the Hearts fans will clear it out of their minds because how will I say a big club like Hearts of Oak has disrespected me? It is not cool so I am sorry for the fake news and I never said that on any platform”, the player said in a video.

Arthur remains a player of Hearts of Oak but sources say his move to Great Olympics is imminent.
