The Phobians have recorded five wins on a role without conceding a goal.

Hearts of Oak inflicted a 2-0 triumph over Chelsea in the matchday 27 games at the Accra Sports Stadium.

The 'Rainbow club' broke the deadlock in just nine minutes from kickoff through combative midfielder Benjamin Afutu before Kwadwo Obeng Jr scored a belter on the 29th minute to seal the victory.

Coach Samuel Boadu after the game has disclosed the win against the 'Bibires' as a crucial win and also admitted they are a very strong side though they are currently found in the relegation zone and one should underestimate them.

"Yeah exactly. Because what we needed was three points, it’s very important. Playing Berekum Chelsea is not an easy match.

“People may think they are not in a good position so it makes it easy but it’s not easy. The team at the bottom are really doing well.

"So we as Hearts of Oak, we play match after match and we are not competing with anyone…this one is gone we are preparing towards the next match," he added.

Hearts of Oak sit on top of the league log with 49 points leading their rivals, Asante Kotoko, two points.

Samuel Boadu's side will have another tedious task ahead to protect their lead as they will lock horns with Great Olympics on Sunday in week 28 of the Ghana Premier League at the Accra Sports Stadium.
