Ewan Otoo has revealed how excited he was when he was handed a call-up into the U17 side of Scotland in 2018.
At 15 years, 11 months and 22 days, Ewan was handed his maiden call-up into the Scotland U17 side.
The experience and pride of receiving a national invitation still sit with the 20-year-old who has just joined Scottish second-tier side Dunfermline.
“It was an incredible experience,” he started.
“Receiving a national call-up at the age of 15 is an experience that will live with me forever.
“It was an honour to be invited by your national team at that age. That means a lot for me at that age and I’ll always cherish that experience,” he added.
Despite playing for Scotland in 2018 at the U17 level, Ewan is still eligible to play for Ghana at all levels provided he is handed an invitation.
The Ghanaian defender started his career at Celtic before moving to Dunfermline where he’s just been handed a 3-year permanent deal.
