Italian Serie C outfit AC Trento have entered the race to sign Ghanaian midfielder Shaka Mawuli Eklu this summer, Footballghana.com can report.
The 25-year-old is a target for Trento who are keen on strengthening their squad ahead of the 2023/24 season.
Shaka Mawuli endured a limited game time with Sudtirol in the Italian Serie B and will be willing to depart the club in search of playing time.
The midfielder made just an appearance in the ended Serie B campaign for Sudtirol.
He joined the Italian second-tier club in January 2022 and will see his current contract expire in the summer of 2024.
