Ghanaian midfielder, Kevin-Prince Boateng, is set to return for AC Monza's important playoff match against Citadella.
The 34-year-old was forced to miss the last two league games and the first leg of the playoff semis due to an unauthorised visit to a casino.
Monza placed third as a result, missing an automatic qualification spot to the Serie A. His side also lost the first leg of the playoff semis to Citadella (3-0) due to his absence.
He will hope to return to the pitch and help his side overturn the deficit to keep their Serie A dreams alive.
Boateng joined the Serie B side after an unsuccessful stint with Italian top-flight side Fiorentina. He has gained experience with the likes of Barcelona and AC Milan.
The Germany-born player has not played for the Black Stars in over five years. He first played for the national team during the 2010 World Cup in South Africa.
