Ghana international, Abdul Fatawu Issahaku was on cloud nine on Tuesday night after he scored a wonderful goal to lead Leicester City to victory in the Emirates FA Cup.

In a fifth-round tie against Bournemouth played at the Vitality Stadium, the Black Stars teenage sensation curled an unstoppable shot in extra time to win the game for his side.

Speaking to the media team of Leicester City after the match, Abdul Fatawu Issahaku said he was elated.

According to him, he has been trying to score such a goal for the club and is happy he finally did it.

“I’m feeling so good about my goal. It’s my first goal in the FA Cup as well. I’ve been waiting for this kind of goal. I’m so lucky that I got it today so I’m so happy and feeling great.

“I knew I was hitting the target, but I’ve been trying and trying! Fortunately, today, it went in and I’m so happy,” Abdul Fatawu Issahaku said.

The player has been in fine form since arriving at Leicester City and is now reportedly set to sign a permanent deal with the team.
