It’s a total failure and disaster for Hearts of Oak to end season without trophy - Nurudeen Abdul Aziz

Hearts of Oak midfielder Nurudeen Abdul Aziz says his outfit ultimate target is to clinch either the Ghana Premier League title or the FA Cup.

The Phobians returned to winning ways at the weekend after inflicting a 1-0 win over Nsoatreman FC at the Accra Sports Stadium.

The Ghanaian giants kick started the season with a narrow defeat to Real Tamale United but the Phobians made a swift return to victory in the week clash.

Having spent over a year on the sidelines, the midfielder made a return to action for Hearts of Oak as they cruised to victory while bagging the man of the match award.

According to the midfielder, it will be a failure and disaster on the part of the players to end the season without winning a trophy considering the investment made by the club’s hierarchy.

"The ultimate is to take the trophy, the league trophy and the FA Cup. If we don't take it, it's a total failure," Nurudeen said.

"Because you can see the works that the Board Chairman has done to bring in new players; give us the basic commodities that at least a player has to acquire.

"...So, with all these and you don't take the league or you don't win it, it's a total failure. It's a disaster. So that's our target," he added.
