It’s always complicated to play away at Crystal Palace – Jordan Ayew

Ghana forward Jordan Ayew has revealed that it is always complicated to play away at Crystal Palace.

The 32-year-old said this after the Eagles drew 1-1 on Monday night at Goodison Park, where he scored the opening goal of the game.

Speaking after the game, Jordan said, “It’s always complicated to come here. You start off with a game that's a bit complicated and direct, and you speed up to the challenge and you manage to get a goal, and they equalise on a set-piece.

“It’s just one where we had to get something out of the game, and we managed to get a point, so we're happy and move on to the next one.”

Meanwhile, Ayew is set to play under a new manager at Crystal Palace after Roy Hodgson stepped down from the post last week.

The 76-year-old signed Jordan for Palace in 2018 and the Ghanaian has played his best football under the former England boss.

The Eagles have since appointed former Eintracht Frankfurt boss Oliver Glasner as their new manager.
