It’s going to be a tough season but we will take it game by game – Medeama coach Augustine Adotey

The head coach of Medeama Sporting Club, Augustine Evans Adotey has admitted that his team faces the daunting task of competing in three competitions this season.

As winners of the Ghana Premier League campaign last season, the Yellow and Mauve outfit is representing the country in the CAF Champions League.

In addition to that, Medeama SC must compete for the two other domestic trophies in the Ghana Premier League and the MTN FA Cup.

Speaking ahead of Week 6 of the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League season, Coach Augustine Evans Adotey said he wants to take it game by game.

"I keep asking myself questions as to how to go about managing the three competitions, but as a coach, we need to approach the situation one step at a time. Currently, our focus is solely on the Betpawa League,” the gaffer said.

In the CAF Champions League, Medeama Sporting Club have been drawn against record holders Al Ahly, Algerian champions CR Belouizdad, and Yanga FC of Tanzania.

It is a group that the Ghanaian club must push above their weight to advance to the knockout stage.
