Bibiani Goldstars coach Michael Osei has expressed his frustration following his outfit stalemate against Heart of Lions in the Ghana Premier League.

Lions came from behind to secure a 2-2 draw against Goldstars in the matchday six clash at Duns Park on Monday.

Goldstars broke the deadlock through Alex Aso before the half time break. Midfielder Appiah McCarthy doubled the Advantage for the host in the 54th minute.

But the host threw away the two-goal lead as the game ended in a draw.

Mustapha Yakubu halved the deficit for the visitors a few minutes later and skipper, Ebenezer Abban netted on 72 minutes to restore parity for Lions and also record their 5th drawn game of the campaign.

“It was a very difficult game. I will credit our opponent because they were tactically disciplined. It was a game that we wanted to win at all cost, we got first two goals but defensively and tactically, we couldn’t defend well and then, they were able to equalize”

“It’s very unfortunate but we will go back to the drawing and ensure we better our performance in subsequent games” he said after the game.
