I’ve learned a lot from Kwesi Appiah since I met him - Ignatius Osei-Fosu

Young Ghanaian tactician, Ignatius Osei-Fosu has heaped praise on former Black Stars head coach James Kwesi Appiah.

Speaking to Pure Sports in an interview, Coach Osei-Fosu noted that he has learned a lot from Kwesi Appiah.

He said if he had encountered the former Black Stars boss earlier, he would not have been sacked by Medeama SC.

“I told the President of Medeama, Moses Parker, that if I had met Kwesi Appiah before joining your club, you wouldn’t have sacked me. I have learned a lot from that man,” Coach Ignatius Osei-Fosu said.

Ignatius Osei-Fosu is currently working closely with James Kwesi Appiah and understudying him.

The experienced tactician is head coach of the Sudan national team with Ignatius Osei-Fosu providing support as an assistant coach and learning on the job.

The Ghanaian tacticians are hoping to qualify Sudan for the 2025 AFCON and the 2026 FIFA World Cup tournaments.
