Hearts of Oak board member Vincent Sowah Odotei has denied allegations that he brings players to sign for the club.
He claims he has never brought a player to sign for the Phobians during his tenure with the Ghanaian giants.
The Ghanaian politician is saying this in response to accusations that he and his colleague Alhaji Akambi are causing the club’s troubles.
He alleged that fans accusing him and Akambi have their brother brothers playing in the team.
“On record, I have never brought any player to Hearts of Oak. Some of the supporters who are vociferous have their brothers in Hearts of Oak.
“Some of the coaches have their wives managing players in Hearts of Oak but have the audacity to come on air and talk about Odotei and Akambi.
“What these people are doing is just politics because there’s no depth in what they are saying.”
Hearts of Oak escaped relegation from the Ghana Premier League on the final day of the season with a draw against Berekum Chelsea.
