Ghana Premier League icon Charles Taylor has made it known that he has not retired from football and is open to joining a club in Saudi Arabia.

Since last playing for Berekum Chelsea in the Ghana Premier League in 2014, Charles Taylor has not played active football.

However, the veteran footballer has expressed his desire to continue playing and asserts that he is still in excellent physical shape, in contrast to fellow Ghanaian player Asamoah Gyan, who has officially retired from the sport.

At 41 years old, Taylor believes he possesses the necessary qualities to make an active contribution on the field.

"Asamoah Gyan has retired, but the rest of us, like myself, have not retired. If I had retired, I would have announced it," Charles Taylor stated during the interview on Angel Sports.

"I still possess the skills and abilities to play for two hours. These days, football is not just about strength; it requires a sharp mind. However, I have no plans to play in the Ghana Premier League. If I am offered a team in Saudi Arabia, I will gladly join."
