Jan Gyamerah and Daniel Heber named in Bundesliga 2 team of the week

Jan Gyamerah and Daniel Heber have been named in Sofascore's Bundesliga 2 team of the week for their outstanding performance for their teams.

German-born Ghanaian defender Gyamerah scored in FC Nurnberg's 2-1 win against SV Wehen Wiesbaden on Sunday.

Gyamerah started the game at the Max-Morlock-Stadion and lasted the full 90 minutes.

In the 11th minute home side was reduced to 10 men. Defender Ahmet Gürleyen was sent off after a bad tackle against Pratjin. The free kick that followed was wasted by Wiesbaden.

The away side was also reduced to 10 men, Lee Hyun-Ju was shown a second yellow card by the referee for a bad foul.

Ivan Prtajin's header from the centre of the box to the high centre of the goal gave SV Wehen Wiesbaden the lead in the 55th minute. His goal was assisted by Robin Heußer with a cross following a corner.

Jan Gyamerah equalized for the home team with a right footed shot from the centre of the box to the bottom right corner.

FC Nurnberg made it 2-1 in the 76th minute thanks to a penalty from Tim Handwerker.

Daniel Heber who is also a German-born Ghanaian defender helped his team FC Magdeburg to keep a clean sheet in their goalless draw with St Pauli on Sunday.

Heber started the game at the Millerntor-Stadion and lasted the full 90 minutes.
