Belgian-born Ghanaian international Jeremy Doku and his RSC Anderlecht teammates can return to training amidst the Coronavirus pandemic after being given the green light to do so.

With just a match to spare, the Belgian Jupiler Pro League authorities decided to suspend the 2019/2020 season as a precautionary measure to protect players and supporters from contracting the COVID-19.

In addition to that move, players have been staying home in isolation. Even though they do train in their various homes, it has not been the same when compared to the fitness they will be gaining from the normal training sessions.

In the latest report from Belgium, players at Anderlecht have been given the green light to use the training facilities at the Neerpede training center to build their fitness.

Coach Franky Vercauteren is expected to monitor the turn of events and will insist on players who will decide to train to adhere to the safety protocols.

This means that players will train individually or in small groups to avoid crowding.

Before the Jupiler Pro League was announced over, Jeremy Doku made 23 appearances for Anderlecht and scored 3 goals while providing 3 assists.
