Anderlecht teenage sensation, Jeremy Doku says he is taking time to decide on the possibility of representing Ghana at the national team level.

The 18-year old winger had a breakthrough season in the Belgian Jupiler Pro League last season and has hit the ground running in the recently started 2020/2021 campaign.

Earlier this year, Jeremie Doku together with Anderlecht teammate Francis Amuzu held talks with Coach CK Akonnor over the possibility of playing for the Black Stars.

In an interview though, he has disclosed that he is yet to make up his mind on playing for the West African side.

“I have made it clear to him I need time to make the right decision”, the exciting forward said in an interview with Sportsworldghana.com.

Jeremie Doku has already played for the Belgium U-15, U-16, U-17, and U-21 teams but remains eligible to play for the Ghana senior national team.

Meanwhile, with strong administration from Belgian national team head coach Roberto Martinez, it is unclear where the teenager will end up playing.
