In a resounding call for accountability and transparency, former Kotoko Express editor, Jerome Otchere, has emphatically urged the Ghana Football Association (GFA) to prioritize openness with its stakeholders as the highly anticipated elections loom closer.

Recognizing the pivotal role of transparency in fostering trust and confidence within the football community, Otchere's impassioned plea serves as a timely reminder for the GFA to uphold the principles of fairness and inclusivity as they navigate the crucial electoral process.

New Edubiase has called upon the governing body to swiftly announce a roadmap for the upcoming elections.

Reacting to Edubiase's letter to the Ghana FA and the FA's response Jerome Otchere said:

"It is not satisfactory one thing they said was election roadmap truly if you want us to approve nominations fees before you bring roadmap then the roadmap is important as the law says then when you brought the nomination fees you did not add that too," he told Peace FM as monitored by Footballghana.com

"Election date while we are in Ghana we know next year December there will be an election we know so those that want to contest have you seen what they are doing. NDC is doing theirs, NPP is doing theirs the others are also doing their thing,"

"With our football we say nomination fees are out but the date for the elections we dont know that is what Edubiase was saying. Truly if we will do an election when you made the nominations public that it is proposed then you add the date too as a proposal,"
