Jerry Akaminko to consider Kotoko move after seeing out contract at Ashgold

Obuasi Ashanti Gold midfielder, James Akaminko has revealed that he is interested in a move to join Asante Kotoko but will only agree to a transfer if he sees out his contract with the Miners.

The highly-rated midfielder has been identified by a player with the quality that will help the Porcupine Warriors in their bid to rule the Ghana Premier League and also make an appearance in any of CAF's inter-club competitions.

According to reports from Kumasi, the Reds have already planned a bid for James Akaminko in this transfer window and will try to secure his services before the campaign resumes after post Coronavirus (Covid-19) era.

Meanwhile, sources close to the camp of the player have revealed to footballghana.com that the midfielder is not ready for a transfer to Kotoko midway through the 2019/2020 season.

Instead, he wants his contract with Obuasi Ashanti Gold to run out before he looks at any proposal presented by the Ghana Premier League record champions.
