Joe Dodoo adjudged Blackpool’s Player and Goal of the Month of November awards

Ghanaian striker Joe Dodoo has been awarded Blackpool Player and Goal of the Month for November.

Dodoo has been impressive for the championship side and capped an incredible month by scooping the top gong.

The 23-year-old joined the Seasiders on loan from Scottish giants Rangers, making seven appearances and scoring four goals in the process.

The former Charlton Athletic loanee's overhead kick in the Checkatrade Trophy was adjudged Goal of the month.

He has previously played for Leicester City, Bury (loan) and Charlton Athletic (loan).

Dodoo is eligible to represent England or Ghana internationally. In March 2013, Dodoo was called up to the England under-18 team and played in a match against Belgium.

Shortly after Dodoo made his senior debut for Leicester, reports emerged that Ghana wanted Dodoo to pledge his international future to them over England.

On 20 May 2016 he was called up to the Ghana squad for their Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Mauritius; as he required FIFA to approve his change of nationality, he was unable to play, but trained with the squad.
