The Egyptian FA has incorporated a new rule which will start next season and that constitutes the number of foreign players allowed in the team. In that rule, a maximum of four foreign players will be allowed in an Egyptian club starting from next season.

This means that Pyramids have no choice but to offload one foreign player since they have five foreign players in their team.
