Ghana international John Boye has resumed training with his teammates at FC Metz as the side commence preparations for the next season.

The defender displayed an impressive form for his team during the 2019/2020 French Ligue 1 campaign as he helped the side to finish 15 on the standings of the division following the abrupt end to the season as a result of the Coronavirus disease.

Having enjoyed more than a month's break, the FC Metz team has now returned to training with all players and technical team cleared from the deadly virus.

On Monday, June 29, 2020, John Boye was part of the FC Metz team that trained at the Frescaty training center.

Only five players missed the training including Kévin N'Doram who is injured, Laurent Jans, Adama Traoré, Leverton Pierre, [all yet to return from loan], and Geronimo Poblete who has been detained in Argentina.

Training is expected to continue this week and will gradually intensify to steadily get the players back into shape.

John Boye, 34, recently signed a 1-year contract extension with FC Metz and will be key for the side in the 2020/2021 French Ligue 1 season.
