JORDAN AYEW wants his side to quickly recover from their match-day one defeat at Sheffield as they launch a strong comeback to the Premier League.

Jordan played the full duration of the game as they lost 1-0 to Sheffield Wednesday away from home.

“We feel a little bit hard done by, we were unlucky the first half was very difficult, we all know that,: said Jordan Ayew after the game

“ I think we did very well in the second half, we deserved at least a point. We had chances but we couldn’t score. We almost went home with a point.

“We spoke to each other at half-time about how to improve and the need to play with confidence. I think everyone saw in the second half there was an improvement. There were positive signs. If we keep playing the way we did in the second half in the future then I’m sure we’ll win games.”
