Crystal Palace manager, Roy Hodgson has heaped praise on Ghana striker Jordan Ayew.

The forward has this week signed a contract extension deal with the English Premier League club.

Speaking on the Black Stars striker ahead of Crystal Palace’s game against Burnley this weekend, Roy Hodgson said Jordan Ayew has gotten better.

“He's got better and better. I mean I think he's been one of the club's best signings because we had him for six months on loan and at the end of that we made the loan permanent for a relatively small sum of money, I think it was actually a very small sum of money by today's standards, and he's given five further years of quite incredible service,” Roy Hodgson told the press.

Jordan Ayew, 31, is expected to feature for Crystal Palace in the away game against Burnley in the English Premier League on Saturday, November 4.

In his new deal, the striker will now play for the Eagles until 2025.
