Jordan Ayew pulls out of Ghana squad for Congo clash

Ghana striker Jordan Ayew has asked to be excused from the  Ghana team for their game with Congo on Tuesday.

Jordan is reported to be unwell and has been suffering from stomach upset since Sunday.

The Swansea City player did not train with the team on Monday ahead of their trip to Congo.

According to our sources, Jordan's elder brother Andre Ayew who will not travel with the team informed coach Appiah on Monday morning during the team's last training.

Many feel the Ayew brothers considering recent public backlash have decided not to travel with the team.

The Black Stars must secure a win to revive their World Cup hopes after failing to grab victory in their three matches played so far.
