Crystal Palace's captain, Joel Ward, has spoken highly of Jordan Ayew's impact on the club, praising his contributions as unparalleled.

This commendation follows Palace's 3-1 victory over Burnley in the Premier League.

During the game, Ayew celebrated his 200th appearance for the London side, boasting a Palace career featuring 23 goals and 21 assists.

His pivotal role in securing the much-needed victory against Burnley, marked by both a goal and an assist for Chris Richards, underscored his importance.

Ward also acknowledged the noteworthy performance of newly acquired right fullback Daniel Munoz, who has made an impressive start at Selhurst Park.

Ward stated, “I think Jordan, at times, goes under the radar, but what he provides and what he does for his team is second to none.”

Throughout the current season, Ayew has recorded six goals and six assists in 24 appearances in the English Premier League.

Notably, he missed some Palace games due to his participation in the 2023 AFCON with Ghana’s Black Stars.

With Palace preparing to face Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday, Ayew will seek to maintain his impressive form in the Premier League.
