Ghanaian striker Jordan Ayew scored a spectacular goal and grabbed an assist as Leicester City dominated Tranmere Rovers in a 4-0 victory in the EFL Cup on Tuesday evening.

Ayew's right-footed shot from outside the box found the top right corner in the 38th minute, setting the tone for the Foxes' convincing win.

The match at the King Power Stadium saw Ayew start as the main striker, with his fellow Ghanaian Fatawu Issahaku coming on in the 82nd minute. Leicester's goals also came from Stephy Mavididi, who converted a penalty in the 51st minute, Wilfred Ndidi in the 71st minute, assisted by Ayew, and Harry Winks in the 90th minute following a corner.
