Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho hailed his "phenomenal" players after they managed to earn three points against Middlesbrough on Saturday - courtesy of two late goals - but fired a stern warning to Anthony Martial in the process.

Martial's future has been the subject of speculation in the last few weeks, with his agent even suggesting he'd look into a move to Sevilla, but the Frenchman starred on this afternoon and scored United's first in a 2-1 win over Aitor Karanka's side.

Mourinho admitted he was a huge fan of the attacker after the game, but insisted he needs to stop listening to his agentPhilippe Lamboley'swishes and concentrate on his football if he's to reach the top of his profession.

According to theTelegraph,Mourinho said: "He played, he scored, he fought. I know he's a top talent, but he needs to listen to me, not his agent. He needs to listen to me in training, where I try to improve the players.

"I knew that (Henrikh) Mkhitaryan was a top talent and I was not playing him. Anthony needs to listen to me and not listen to his agent. He has to listen to me in training every day. Every feedback I give to players, I give to improve them as player.

On front foot all game. Chance created after chance. Two goals in last 10 mins to recover a deficit.
Mourinho's MUFC reprising Ferguson's.

"Almost every day, I was having Mkhitaryan's agent calling me and saying 'Mkhitaryan with you, will be a better player. Keep going'.

"And with Martial, every day I read the newspaper - Martial goes to Sevilla, Martial goes on loan, he's not happy. Martial needs to listen to me. He's a player with amazing condition to be a top player."

On the game, which was won by Paul Pogba's late header, the fans andhis players, Mourinhocontinued:"My players were phenomenal. We managed to do something I love “ bring the fans to the pitch. The last 15 minutes, there were 70,000 on the pitch against 11.

"I am happy with the way we played. We hit the post, we scored a fantastic goal, we were dominate, stopped our opponents playing. It's a very good feeling, as I was expecting.

"[But] I don't feel the same happiness because my brother is on the other side. Aitor Karanka did his job amazing. I feel for my brother and his players because they gave everything."
