Ghana international Joseph Attamah Lawerh has helped his Fatih Karagümrük outfit to secure promotion to the Turkish Super Lig after emerging victorious in the playoffs of the lower division.

At the end of the regular season, the Black Stars asset and his team gained the right to play in the playoffs to fight for the final slot of qualification to the top-flight league.

Facing off with Adana Demirspor in the finals of the playoffs today, Joseph Attamah Lawerh and his Fatih Karagümrük side have enjoyed success.

The defender as usual was deployed in a defensive midfield role and delivered another solid performance.

At the end of the 90 minutes and extra time, goals from Cagri Ortakaya and Pa Amat Dibba canceled out to force the two teams to head into the lottery of the penalty shootouts.

At the end of the action, Fatih Karagümrük beat Adana Demirspor 6-5 and are celebrating a massive win that sends them to the Turkish Super Lig next season.

Attamah Lawerh finished the 2019/2020 football season as one of his team’s best players even though he only joined on loan from İstanbul Başakşehir in January.
