Joseph Attamah Larweh makes injury return in Kayserispor's victory at Giresunspor

Ghanaian defender Joseph Attamah Larweh returned from injury to help Kayserispor secure a 1-2 victory over Giresunspor in the Turkish Super Lig.

The match was played after a halt in the league due to the deadly earthquake that hit the country and took the life of Christian Atsu.

Larweh, who had been out of action for five months due to an injury sustained during their 2-1 loss to Sivasspor in the first phase of the season, made his comeback this weekend. He was named in the starting lineup against Giresunspor and played a big role in Kayserispor's victory.

The defender, who was substituted out after 69 minutes, marshaled the defense as Kayserispor held on to clinch a narrow win.

Kayserispor, who are currently sitting 7th on the league log with 35 points, recorded an important away triumph over Giresunspor at the Sports Complex in match-week 22. The Anatolian Stars had taken the lead in the first half with goals from Carlos Mané and M Thiam.

Larweh's return will be a boost to Kayserispor's hopes of finishing the season on a high note.
