Joseph Esso believes Hearts of Oak has the right to accept or reject an offer for his services

Hearts of Oak striker Joseph Esso, believes the club has the final say of rejecting or accepting an offer for his services after impressing at the 2019 West African Football Championship (WAFU) in Senegal.

Esso says he respects his binding contract with the Phobians so much despite some teams interested in signing him to augment their squad.

The goal poacher, who was named as one of the best five players by ESPN in the just ended WAFU said in an interview that his club will have the final say in terms of accepting or rejecting a deal.

"I have a binding contract with Accra Hearts of Oak and I respect that very much, so they will have the final say of rejecting or accepting any offer tabled in-front of them," he noted.

"I came to this tournament full of hopes because it was my first major tournament and it gave me a lot of exposure, which is very good to my career and development".

Esso was part of the Ghana team that won silver at the 2019 WAFU and also part of the team seeking to book qualification for the 2020 African Championship of Nations (CHAN) as they face Burkina Faso in Ouagadougou on Friday.
