Joshua Addae and David Boateng part ways with Crystal Palace

Crystal Palace's promising duo, Joshua Addae, and David Boateng, have bid farewell to the club, marking an unexpected separation that has surprised some of the Eagles' devoted supporters.

Joshua Addae, who came to Palace from Langley F.C. in January 2022, showed potential as he rose through the club's academy ranks to the second team.

Addae has been notified that the club will not extend his professional contract, which is scheduled to expire this month. Addae played just once for Crystal Palace's senior squad last year, despite his ability to play as a lateral defender on both the right and left flanks.

On the other hand, David Boateng has also been informed that he has to find a new club as Crystal Palace has decided not to prolong his time at the club. Boateng, now 22 years old, started playing for Palace when he was just 9 years old in 2010. He worked his way up through the club's youth system to the second team.

David Boateng, a defender capable of playing on both the right and left flanks, made just one game for Crystal Palace's U21 team last year. He will now start the search for a new team to play for in the next stage of his football career.
