Jurgen Klopp believes Liverpool have the best England players, with the German coach heaping praise on his Lions internationals following an impressive display against Middlesbrough.

With Nathaniel Clyne, Jordan Henderson, James Miler,Adam Lallana and Daniel Sturridge in the first-team, Klopp has a strong English contingent at Anfield and believes they represent the best the country can offer at the moment.

In my opinion, we have all of the best English players “ all of them. I'm fine with them! the boss told ESPN.

But I'm not long enough here and didn't see too much about the other teams.

Klopp has stats to back up his claim, however bold it may seem. Lallana is enjoying his best season with both club and country, scoring six goals and registering six assists so far this season.

The 28-year-old played a starring role in the 3-0 win over Middlesbrough on Wednesday night, too, scoring twice in another eye-catching display.

Meanwhile, Henderson has been excellent in the middle of the park for the Reds and Milner has adapted seamlessly to his new role at left-back.

Turning toMonday night's Merseyside Derby, Klopp said he is expecting a tough challenge from Everton, who are upbeat following their comeback victory against Arsenal.

Both teams after the last game are in good mood. We watched the [Arsenal] game together at the hotel in Middlesbrough. You could see the atmosphere was good.

"We were excited about the game so it was intense. It will be a real battle, two good teams against each other and my first time there at Goodison.
