Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has offered positive injury updates on both Adam Lallana and Roberto Firmino after both players were able to return to training on Thursday. A decision now has to be made whether they are fit to play on Saturday but the boss sounded optimistic.
Lallana, for whom the trip to Bournemouth would mark a return to his first club, hasn't been since limping out of England's friendly against Spain last month.
"Adam has been training since Thursday; yesterday was the first session and he looked good," Klopp explained as he faced the media at his pre-game press conference on Friday morning.

"We need to see how he reacts to the intensity of the training yesterday - it was quite intense for him, I think, but all good. Having him back is cool."
Firmino played in the win against Sunderland last weekend, but a calf complaint picked up in that game ruled him out of action for the EFL Cup quarter final win over Leeds a few days ago.
Training went well for the Brazilian, who will have even greater responsibility now that fellow countryman Philippe Coutinho will be sidelined until early January.
Klopp on @Roberto_Firmino: "He trained yesterday too. He has a little pain but it's not serious. He came through the session." #BOULIV pic.twitter.com/CAb3GSTRkq
"Roberto trained yesterday, too. That's important," Klopp explained.
"There's still a little bit of pain, it's painful but not that serious. When you can deal with the pain, then everything is fine. He is quite a tough guy, so he came through the session yesterday. Again, we have to see how he reacts and that's it."
Klopp must make a decision as to whether teen sensation Ben Woodburn travels with the squad to the south coast, butDaniel Sturridge will miss out with a calf problem.
