Jurgen Klopp lauds Tony Yeboah; says he is one of the greats to ever play in Germany

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has heaped praises on Tony Yeboah after describing him as one of the greatest strikers to ever play in the German Bundesliga. 

During an illustrious career, the Ghanaian international had three stints in Germany as he played for clubs including FC Saarbrücken [1988-1990], Eintracht Frankfurt 1990-1995], and Hamburger SV [1997-2001].

During his stay with Frankfurt, he enjoyed his best moments in Europe as he finished two successive seasons as the top scorer in the division.

Now retired, Jurgen Klopp continues to give him praise after recently indicating that the Ghanaian had a great impact in Germany.

''Yeboah was one of the greatest strikers who played in Germany apart from Gerd Müller. He had a big impact on society", Klopp said.

Tony Yeboah also had spells with club suchs as Leeds United in England, as well as Qatari side Al-Ittihad.
