Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has been getting early jabs in at his Merseyside rivals byrevealing his first impression of Everton's Goodison Park came while watching 'Creed', the latest installmentin the 'Rocky' film franchise.

The stadium was used during filming for the critically-acclaimed movie, with crowd reaction from the Toffees' game against West Brom in early 2015 being used in the final cut of the film.

Liverpool take on Everton at Goodison Park on Monday in what will be Klopp's first official visit to the ground as manager of the Reds, and the 49-year-old has admitted he knew little about the stadium before seeing it pop up inthe Sylvester Stallone blockbuster.

"I watched the movie 'Creed' “ my first impression of Goodison Park," Klopp said, as reported by Goal.

Apparently the former Dortmund boss is a fan of the franchise.

"I once used Rocky 4 in one of my team talks but stopped when I realised that hardly anyone in the room had watched it!

"Yesterday I had the honour to be part of the Xmas party for the Chapel St staff. Afterwards I watched 'Creed'."

Klopp quickly made it clear he knew how massive the fixture is, outlining his side's ambition to ensure theEverton fans don't get the opportunity to replicate the cheers used for the film.

"It's very, very, very, very big. Everyone knows about the derby. It's pretty special," Klopp continued.

"That's still a fine!"

"It's our job to keep the home fans quiet."
