JUST IN: Coach Kosta Papic leaves Hearts of Oak head coach role

Hearts of Ok have parted ways with head coach Kosta Papic, footballghana.com can report.

Your most trusted Ghanaian online portal in previous publications announced that the Serbian tactician was planning to leave his post.

After considerations from officials of Hearts of Oak, they have decided to act and have as a result handed coach Kosta Papic the sack.

According to sources, the coach has received offers from clubs including one in South African, and asked the club last week if he could leave.

With the club stunned, they have sacked the manager and will in the coming days appoint a new head coach as well as an assistant coach.

It is understood that former player turned coach Yaw Preko is the likely candidate to be handed the vacant Hearts of Oak head coach job.

The gaffer recently had a short stint with Great Olympics where he impressed.

Meanwhile, other sources say that youth team head coach Edward Nii Odoom could be asked to step in as the head coach in the meantime.
