JUST IN: Ghana coach CK Akonnor names official Black Stars eleven to face Ethiopia

Ghana head coach CK Akonnor has officially named his starting eleven to face Ethiopia in the qualifiers to the 2022 FIFA World Cup today.

The gaffer and his invited players have since Monday been training to prepare for the game against the Ethiopians.

The clash between the Black Stars and the Walia ibex is the first for both national teams in the Africa World Cup qualifiers that has started this week.

Ahead of the crucial Group C encounter, Coach CK Akonnor has named a strong starting eleven to face Ethiopia.

The Black Stars starting eleven has experienced goalkeeper Richard Ofori in post with a back four that has the pairing of Alexander Djiku and Daniel Amartey.

Skipper Andre Ayew is handed a big role in the attack with support from Baba Idrissu in midfield while Jeffrey Jordan Ayew and Kamaldeen Sulemana lead the lines.
