Juventus Manager Massimiliano Allegri Pressures Arsenal to Decide if He Is to Replace Arsene Wenger

Massimiliano Allegri,Juventus' manager, has informed Arsenal that they have until the end of the month to notify him if Arsene Wenger is leaving in the summer and if he is set to replace him, according to theDaily Star.


With Arsenal fans frustrated at their lack of progression, Wenger has come under increasing pressure which has left many to believe his time is running out as potential replacements start to be discussed.

Juve's desire to tie Allegri down with a new contract - his current deal expires at the end of next season - reflects his success with the Italian giants as they siteight points ahead of Roma as the 49-year-oldcloses in on a third successive league title.


However, with Wengerrefusing to revealwhether he is staying or notis complicating the issue of identifyingwho will need to replace him if he calls time on his 21-year managerial career at the Emirates.

Allegri's credentials have alerted a number of top European clubs, including Barcelona - who's boss Luis Enrique is standing down this summer- and Paris Saint-Germain could also be looking to replace Unai Emery after their 6-1 thrashing at the hands of Barca on Wednesday.


The uncertainty surrounding Wenger is causing issues for Arsenal's owners negotiating withAllegri as he has made it clear he is not prepared to be left waiting as other inviting offers come his way.
