Juventus Star Ready to Reject Advances From Barcelona in Order to Sign for Real Madrid

Published on: 06 January 2017

Juventus forward Paulo Dybala has made it clear that he would prefer a move to Real Madrid over domestic rivals Barcelona when the time comes for him to move clubs, according toMarca.

Both clubs are said to be vying to sign the Argentinian star, who has risen to prominence with Juventus since moving to the club from Palermo, though the Italian champions themselves are determined to keep the player and tie him down to a new contract - complete with a hefty increase in pay.

Dybala has famously claimed he would "swim to Barcelona" to sign for them in the past - though that was prior to his move to Juventus - however his opinion appears to have changed. Both Real and Barca have serious interest in luring the player to Spain, but it is reported that he will reject all other offers in order to make the move to the capital happen.

Juventus are in no financial need of money from a Dybala sale because of the world record departure of Paul Pogba to Manchester United last summer, and they are set to meet with Dybala's representatives at some point this month in order to keep the player happy. The club are aware that the deal he signed in 2015 may not be enough to retain the player.

Real officials see the player as high profile enough to become the latest in a long line of 'Galactico' signings, and will wait patiently for a deal to be reached. Dybala, according to the report, is set to do the same.
