Kamaldeen Sulemana and Ransford-Yeboah Koniigsdoffer named in provisional squad for U-23 Afcon

Ransford-Yeboah Koniigsdoffer and Kamaldeen Sulemana have been named in Ghana's provisional squad for the u-23 Afcon. 

Black Meteors coach Ibrahim Tanko released the provisional squad today. The Black Meteors will depart Accra on Monday, June 12, 2023 for Cairo where they will camp for two weeks and engage in series of friendlies before the competition.

According to the Ghana Football Association, Ransford-Yeboah Koniigsdoffer and Kamaldeen Sulemana will link up with the u-23 side after Black Stars game against Madagascar on June 18th.

Some players are already in camp they are training at the Ghanaman Centre of Excellence at Prampram ahead of the trip to Cairo.

Ghana is in Group A, along with Morocco, Guinea, and Congo. The Black Meteors will open the competition against Congo on June 25, followed by games against Morocco and Guinea on June 27 and 30, respectively.

The u-23 tournament which will be held in Morocco will start on June 24 and end on July 8, 2023.
