Ghana Premier League side Karela United FC players have boycott training over unpaid monthly arrears.

The players have decided to stay off the pitch till they receive their salaries owed them. Their anguish aroused after the cancellation of the Special Competition by the Normalization Committee.

The players had hopes relied on the competition for winning bonuses but since it has been cancelled, they deem it fit to demand for their arrears.

Karela United earned promotion to Ghana Premier League after winning the 2017 Division One Zone Two league.
